STRIKE MAGAZINE BOSTON
Over the course of three semesters I was able to work with a very talented group of students to put together several issues of Strike Magazine, the nations largest student-run publication. I have worked with both merchandise and print teams to deliver tangible products that visually and physically represented the creative essence of our publication.
I really enjoyed my time with Strike and I’m grateful for the leadership, time management, and editorial skills I gained from this experience!
The fifth issue of Strike Boston was about the story of a flower’s imagined life with themes of decay, renewal, bud, and bloom. I wanted the merchandise to reflect the floral focus of the issue, and enjoyed experimenting with photo treatment throughout this process! If you’re curious, please check out the fifth issue here!
I was given the opportunity to lead a team of designers through ideating, drafting, and finalizing the graphic design of an entire magazine. I planned and designed all spreads leading up to the first shoot- “To Hide”- while additionally redesigning, adding to, and formatting my team member’s spreads.

For my first semester in Strike I worked on the editorial team and contributed 4 spreads that were printed in the final issue. Here is the link to the full issue 03, and below are the spreads I created!
