A web-based interactive experiment created as part of my thesis exploration at Boston University, focused on translating physical interaction into sound through digital space. This piece was designed to make music generation intuitive by allowing users to “play” a modeled piano directly within the browser. The piano keys were built and animated in Spline, while custom-recorded notes from a digital piano were integrated to ensure authentic sound response to each interaction.
Every detail was considered to make the experience feel immediate and accessible across devices, using both keyboard input and touch interaction to mirror the act of playing a real instrument. The result is a simple but immersive tool where digital modeling, sound design, and user interaction merge into a playable musical interface.
